The
Founders of NAOF
Gary and Victoria
Beck live in Colorado with their two children. They discovered the
use of the hormone, secretin, for the treatment of autism and other
immunological, neurological and behavioral disorders, including
schizophrenia and ADHD. Their journey and work with autism has been
featured on numerous television programs and newspapers internationally,
including “Dateline NBC”, “Good Morning America”,
PAX TV’s “It’s a Miracle”, “60 Minutes”
in the U.K. and Australia, and the “Wall Street Journal”.
In 1999, the Becks produced a CD, entitled “Stand Up! Speak
Out!” and a book entitled “Confronting Autism: The Aurora
on the Dark Side of Venus” and have donated all proceeds from
both projects to autism research.
Secretin is presently in clinical trials. Under the terms of the
patent purchase agreement for secretin use, if the FDA approves
secretin, the Becks will receive royalties on the sale of the hormone.
Gary and Victoria have pledged 100% of all royalties received from
secretin to non-profit 501(c)3 organizations, such as the NAOF.
The Becks’ passion is helping children with autism and their
families. They have founded the National
Autism Outreach Foundation and have dedicated much
of their time, talent and resources to help others realize the hope
and blessings they have found in their own journey with a child
affected by autism.
